the process of creating a SpiritWallHanging is multi-dimensional. i start with a wooden canvas that varies in size. each wooden block is a palette and is treated with stain, milk paint or acrylic, crackle or with a plethora of mixed media techniques.
SpiritWallHangins are enhanced by copper metal that I etch, patina and shape in my studio. you will find I also use embellishments and a wide variety of colors. SpiritWallHangins are 3 dimensional and the front and sides are designed with care. the back is open and these pieces can be hung or placed on a surface.
